Universal Remote Control
There are too many electric devices in your A/V cabinet to operate easily. If someone hits the wrong button, you may not be able to watch that ball game you were looking forward to seeing. If family or a babysitter come over they may not even have an idea on how to turn everything on.
Future Home Technologies can help you by programming a universal remote control that will easily operate all the equipment in your A/V closet. Better still, we program in sufficient control that even if someone hits a wrong button, the program will fix it. Combining the remote with an RF base means your equipment can be hidden in a cabinet or closet and the remote will still work. You don’t have to point it at the TV.
URC Remote Controls
We primarily support Universal Remote Control (URC) line of remotes. The MX-450 is a color remote, the MX-350 a black and white version. Both are easily programmable by our technicians. The remote will control not only your family room, but also speakers running off the second zone of the receiver. URC also makes an MRF-250 and MRF-350 RF base.
If you use Control4, we can not only control your A/V equipment, but also your lights, cameras and thermostats form one remote. We can also use a Ipad to control your home or even a touchpad on the kitchen wall. The technology is really amazing.
