Surround sound creates a wonderful listening environment for both the action of TV and movies as well as listening to music. Over the years, TV manufacturers have reduced the quality of their speakers in the TV. They sound pretty “tinny” By adding a surround sound receiver and speakers, the sound quality is so much better and you feel you are part of the TV show or movie. When you listen to music, the music comes out of all the speakers so you are immersed in sound.
Whole home Audio
An added advantage of surround sound receivers is they can be used to connect speakers outside the family room using the second zone of the receiver to create whole home audio. IN many homes, we’ll place speakers in the kitchen, dining room, deck and other rooms, tied into the surround sound receiver. By doing this, our clients can listen to a football game in the family room and at the same time be listening to music across the rest of the house
As we add sophistication to the system, we can add an Ipod dock or Apple TV or even Sonos or Control4 to the system so that out clients have a virtually unlimited music selection.
Future Home primarily uses Denon receivers. These receivers are highly rated and have a large feature set.
